Dear Friday Night Soup and Pool Community

It’s getting towards that time of the year again when thoughts turn to jumpers beanies and soup making.

The last few winters as you well know we have enjoyed Friday night's with a soup roster actively working to bring us together over some delicious creations together with drinks and pool playing.

This year, the plan is to continue this tradition, commencing at the beginning of June and moving through until the end of August.

Bel and Ian are putting out a call for anyone willing to make a large pot of soup at this stage and we can refine the details once we have a group of people.

The club is requesting that anyone who wishes to make soup provide a food handling certificate or complete the online free food safety course available here. This ensures best practice for food handling amongst us and gives you confidence with your cooking.

The online course takes about 60 minutes to complete. At the end you will not receive a certificate but the screen will show completed units. Please take a photo on your phone of the this on completion of the course and submit that with your registration.

Please complete this course, or submit your up-to-date food handling certificate before May the 12th so that we can then build the roster.
