Due to the forecast strong winds on Saturday 11th April, racing has been abandoned.

Instead, all skippers and interested crew are invited to join us for a relaxed and constructive Afternoon Tea Session at the club, commencing at our usual start time of 1:30pm.

This gathering is an opportunity to thank our skippers for the racing opportunities they have provided throughout the season, to reflect on key moments, and to reinforce a shared commitment to safe and fair sailing as we look ahead to next year.

The Sailing Committee will host a short, informal discussion covering:

• Safe race limits at QLYC

• Start and rounding procedures

• Emergency procedures – what to do when things go wrong

• The protest process and how to lodge a protest in 2026/27

• Open Q&A on any aspect of racing

Afternoon tea will be provided, and we hope you can join us for a pleasant and valuable session.
